Blog 4: My music

Hi! Today I will write about music. It is a topic that is very important in my life! I love to listen to music at all times, on the way to my house, when I cook or sing while I bathe, although it doesn't sound good. I think that music is very special.

I like different styles of music, but I really like old music that has rhythms like soul or jazz. I remember accompanying my mother at home during the afternoon while I did my homework for school and she worked cleaning the house. She played old music like Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, The Ronnetes, among others, and we sang with much energy.

One of my favorite songs is Killing Me Softly of Roberta Flack. It is a song from the 70`s, but after also interpreted by the group The Fugges. When I discovered this version it was fantastic because I like it very much.

Another very special singer for me is Amy Winehouse. It made me sad know about her death because I like much her songs, the sounds of this music and her voice.

I think that the music accompany ours lives and it reminds us special moments, sad or happy.
